Embodied relaxation is the key to transforming worry, anxiety and overwhelm into safety, security and trust.  

When this practice becomes a way of being, you have the tools to intuitively relieve stress and be fully present.

It’s ideal for periods of transition such as fertility support, postpartum healing, cancer care, career changes, divorce and empty nesting.

When I first trained as an Integrative Therapist in 2015, I had no idea how impactful it would be for me - personally and professionally.

The mission of the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy is to change the present healthcare paradigm, by treating the patient not just the disease. The practice combines healing modalities to treat and relieve common symptoms such as pain, anxiety and exhaustion - helping to reduce the need for medication.

Initially, as a doula, I witnessed its benefits in the labor room, helping a mama and her partner relax throughout what was often a long and sometimes intense process. My Senior clients also experienced greater functional mobility and felt empowered with tools to ease pain and increase ease.

Ultimately, the practice taught me how to bring mindfulness into every aspect of my life and how to create and hold space, with compassion, for myself and others for healing, integration and freedom. It’s the foundation of how I coach, teach and live.

Facilitating a mother’s healing and return to wholeness is my dharma, or calling. Helping you cultivate awareness is my honor. When you can recognize and release tension and connect intimately with your thoughts and emotions, you can live from a place of truth and ease. I’m particularly passionate about working with moms around reproductive health and during periods of transition.
